
Daniel G. Snethen is publisher of Darkling Publications, which he formed in early 2005 in effort to promote writers of dark poetry. He is an educator, rancher, and avid rare paperback collector. He lives in Southern Tripp County, South Dakota.

James C. Van Oort is a poet, vocalist, and photographer. He is an avid motorcyclist and joined Dan Snethen in the formation of Darkling Publications in early 2005 and serves as editor-in-chief. Currently, he is working on a novel-length fiction project, but still writes poetry voluminously, though he is not widely published.

Mike Watanabe is the graphic artist for Darkling Publications. He is a minimalist artist and was a friend of Dan Snethen in his college years. He lives with his wife in Idaho. |

Dr. Joseph M. Ditta is consulting editor for Darkling Publications. He also serves as editor of Prairie Winds magazine. He is an avid poet, fiction writer and essayist, and is professor of English at Dakota Wesleyan University. |

Micaela E. Nelson serves as archivist for Darkling Publications. She is a published poet and writer who is the News Clerk at The Daily Republic in Mitchell. She holds bachelors degrees in elementary and secondary education with an English/literature major.
